Using only the latest, up-to-date research information, this book has been compiled to make it easy to read and follow and contains concise descriptions, information, and photographs of each of the 17 species of hedgehog from around the world, avoiding as much scientific jargon as is possible.
The aim of this book is to highlight the ever-changing habitats that hedgehogs (and other animals) experience due to human evolution, leaving many species in decline. Out of all the species that are affected by our actions, the hedgehog is one that all of us can help flourish alongside us, and it is gravely important that we act sooner rather than later.
